Hommage à Serge Gainsbourg

Quand les icônes anglo-saxonnes actuelles des djeun's rencontrent un très grand de la chanson française ça donne un disque sacrément prometteur (avec tous les risques de déception que cela implique)...

Eh non, vous ne rêvez pas,  Franz Ferdinand, Portishead, Cat Power, Gonzales, Feist, Placebo, The Kills, Kid Loco, Tricky, Michael Stipe ou encore Marianne Faithfull seront accompagnés des chanteuses attitrées de Gainsbourg (Jane Birkin, Françoise Hardy) pour reprendre quelques uns des classiques du maître dans Monsieur Gainsbourg Revisited.

ah! me réjouis d'entendre michael et tricky chanter gainsbourg (et the rakes aussi d'ailleurs).
mais portishead? ce n'est pas qu'un souvenir? c'est une reprise qu'ils avaient déjà faite j'imagine?

Que du beau monde je te dis! Sinon Portishead devrait sortir son 3ème album studio fin 2006...mais bon ok, ça fait à peu près 5 ans qu'on l'annonce à intervalle régulier! Ce qui est sûr, c'est qu'ils enregistrent un nouvel album. Pour ce qui est de "Requiem for Anna", je sais pas trop mais j'ai pas l'impression que ce soit un vieux fond de tiroir, même si Andy Smith le DJ de Portishead a déja utilisé "Requiem pour un con" dans son album "The Document II" en 2003.
